Dream of playing in a band?  We can make​ that happen!​​​

With over 60 years of collective experience playing in bands and leading bands, we're here to develop all of the skills necessary to be an amazing band! From team-building skills, to listening skills and stage presence, to booking your band, packing your gear and heading out " on the road", our summer program will give you the experience of a lifetime!

Workshops are geared toward students 12-18 years old who have an intermediate understanding of their instrument of choice – understand how to read music or chord sheets (or both).

We will work on building a suggested set list and are open to bands helping to select the songs of their choice (subject to review / studio input).

In addition to skill, a good attitude is a must! In this workshop, we will learn how to work with different personalities / skill sets to build a strong team.

We need at least one of each discipline to run the workshop (vocals could potentially be combined with other instruments).  If you have friends you'd like to play with, have them complete pre-registration also!  We will build the bands based on pre-registration interest.  If we don’t get enough pre-registered to hold the class, we will keep you information for future workshop dates. If we have more registrants than we need, we may hold auditions to select the first band and put others on hold for future workshops.  You will have great opportunities to meet/work with other great musicians from the area.  

Private lessons are not required to participate in BandWagonz, but it can certainly help.  Your instructor can review songs with you during your lessons!  Contact us if you are not already part of our weekly lesson program and want to be!
